The arrangements are fairly straightforward. Reserve the dates, pay a down payment, pay the balance and deposit at least 30 days prior to staying, and then show up for some relaxing fun. All reservations may be made at our website (www.mayfieldlakeparadise.com) or by phone at 206-225-6786.
Pets are allowed on Paradise point property but are not allowed inside the facilities. Pets must be kept under control at all times and must be approved before your stay.
Smoking is NOT allowed inside any of the Paradise Point facilities. Smoking is allowed outside but the butts must be disposed of in the trash. Damages will be deducted from your deposit for each butt found on the property.
Firewood is available for use in the large fire pit for $10 per night.
Cold but refreshing! The lake is fed from the Cowlitz glacier on Mount Rainer. The deeper you go the colder it gets!
The Paradise Point property is one of only a handful of houses on the entire lake. It lies on 185 feet of waterfront and a 180-degree view of Mayfield Lake.
Paradise Point is lies almost exactly halfway between Seattle and Portland. It is approximately a 2.5 hour drive from either city.
Bed sheets are provided for all of the beds.
Shower soaps and shampoos are not provided so please bring your own. Hand soap is provided at all sinks.
Bath towels are provided for inside use. However, we do NOT provide towels for use when swimming in the the lake or hot tub, so please bring your own. Heavily soiled towels used outside will be charged against your deposit.
Check-in time is 4:00 pm on the first day of your reservation so that the service staff time has time to properly prepare the facilities for your enjoyment. Check-out time is 11:00 am on the last day of your reservation. Earlier check-in or late check-out can be requested prior to your designated check-in day if the facilities are available.
Paradise Point is a perfect location for large gatherings and are allowed on a case-by-case basis. Please check on rates for your family reunion, wedding, corporate outing, or other large event. Rates will depend on the size of you party.
Mayfield Lake is a haven for water sports including boating, fishing, skiing, and jet skiing.
Paradise Point facilities include access to a private dock perfect for lounging, boating, and swimming. The dock is only 30 feet from the deck of the house.
Paradise Point has a canoe for rent and the Mayfield Lake Marina rents fishing boats, canoes and pontoon boats.
The nearest boat launch is very close to the property and is operated by the Ike Kinswa State Park. There is no fee if you do not leave your trailer in the park.
The private dock can be used to moor your watercraft only feet from the back door.
There is a parking spot for an RV. Electrical (110V) and water connections are available but no sewer hookup exists.
Paradise Point is available at all times during the year. There is a two-night minimum stay required during the week all year round and a three-night minimum stay required for weekends during the summer season (May 1 - Oct 31). In addition the following holidays require a three-night minimum stay: Memorial Day, Labor Day and Spring Break weeks in March. There is a four night minimum stay for Thanksgiving weekend and Christmas.
Accepted payment methods include: personal check (must be received at least 30 days prior to your designated check-in day), cashier check, money order, and all major credit cards via PayPal.
There are two gas grills and one charcoal grill provided (you provide the charcoal).
Fishing licenses can be purchased at the bait shop by the barrier dam, the grocery store in Mossyrock or at the Tackle shop on Hwy 12 in Salkum.
